Introducing: Neville!

This is Neville. He is a red agouti Angora rabbit. He's five months old and absolutely adorable. :)

Eventually, his fur will start to shed; then I'll gently remove it and spin it into yarn!

He likes to eat timothy hay.

Bunchy Bunny

Don't you just hate it when bloggers take an unexpected break for 2 weeks? Yeah, me too.
Anyway, this is what I've been working on....

Isn't he cute?
I've had a few requests for the pattern, so I'll try to get it written up in the next week or so.

See his little wooly tail?

(Cue : awwww....)

Bunny was made out of some of my tea-dyed handspun. The tea-dying didn't work out so well, seeing that it mostly all rinsed out and stained the shower floor...

He was fat and bunchy, as a rabbit should be…

P. S. He needs a name. Any ideas?

A Spring Nest

In our front yard we have a short little cherry tree. Just the other week I looked out, and a robin was building a nest! Now there are two beautiful turquoise eggs in the finished nest. All this week the mother robin has been sitting on her eggs. I can't wait to see them hatch!

Finge{rings}

My friend Maddy (http://maddyknits.wordpress.com/) and I have been making knitted rings to sell on our Etsy shop! They're soo cute and really warm! (They're made out of 100% wool yarn!)
So far, we have:

   owls

butterflies

giraffes,

turtles, hearts, and I think a dragonfly is in progress!

Come visit our Etsy shop!
We are selling these for $6 each!
(This might sound expensive, but it's not, really! We handknit these ourselves!)

I really love making these!

"Big Old Funnyface"

"Several hundred years ago the bulldog was one of the toughest of all breeds. His biggest jobs were fighting other dogs and grabbing mad bulls by the nose until they fell. But Today he is a rather kindly clown who shuffles along like an old sailor and makes you laugh whenever you look at his broad, wrinkled face. That push-back nose allowed his ancestors to breathe while they hung onto enemies with a vise-like grip!"

Squirrel Mittens

Look at these mittens I made! Won't they be cozy in the snow?
I like the two colors together - royal blue and white!
The pattern said to sew the white ribbed part underneath the blue and white striped part, but I left it long so I can tuck them under my coat sleeves!

A Knitted Goldfish

No, not the cracker, a real goldfish!
See? Isn't he cute?
He was fun to make. I don't have a name for him yet, though. Any suggestions?
His little mouth reminds me of the opening for a balloon!
And, guess what!?! I still have lots of yarn left for more fish!
I think I might make at least 2 more of these for Christmas presents!
But, shhh, don't tell anyone... :)

Here's the side view, of his tail:

Bye!!!
I'll be posting more later!!!!!!!

(Posted by Chloe, pictures by me also: they came out rather well)

P.S. The duck in the background's named Louie, the Owl Tibby (I kind of made that name up :P, and the Dog is named Rover or sometimes Doggie: I've had him since I was little! Oh and he has a red collar and a blue least that I finger knit for him when I was just learning to knit at the age of Six)
